USC should steamroll through Cal Poly into the final. The only question I might have about USC is how recovered are they after flying back from the Australian Open where they played South Carolina Monday. As I would expect will happen a lot through the first part of the year, the Trojans have already mixed the lineup up a little from what they played in Australia.
The UCSB vs South Alabama match ought to be a good one. UCSB has a definite advantage up top with Nicolas Moreno de Alboran but things get tight after that. South Alabama just played a very tight match with Florida State taking the dubs point and Court 6 and sending Courts 2 and 3 to a 3rd set to decide the match before falling 5-2. In order to win this one I think South Alabama has to get three of the four bottom courts in singles and I'm just not that convinced they will.
The final should once again be all USC although I'll give UCSB a punchers chance at dubs and 1 and maybe they get one of those.
Predictions:UCSB 4, South Alabama 2
