The TCU region will be a fun one to watch simply because of Arizona State. If the Sun Devils fire on all cylinders they could be very dangerous, they just haven't managed to find all those cylinders yet. TCU has a very solid top 3 that will be tough to take down, so anyone wanting to beat them is either going to have to come up with some upsets up top, or win everything down low. And if you are going to take your crack at TCU, do it now while Juan Martin is still not back from injury as their lineup gets a significant upgrade when he returns. I don't expect any trouble from Loyola Marymount for TCU who should make their way to the final in short order.
The Oklahoma State vs Arizona State match could be interesting though, especially depending on the weather. The Cowboys would much prefer the match be played indoors, but if the weather cooperates it will be outdoors and much more to the Sun Devils liking. The Sun Devils lineup has been all over the place but I expect they will all be ready this weekend and their depth will just be too much for the Cowboys to overcome.
Should all that hold we get a TCU vs Arizona State final and one that could easily produce an upset. TCU has already shown their lack of depth in a loss to Tulsa this year and the Arizona State lineup is deeper than Tulsa's. Which Nathan Ponwith shows up for ASU? I don't know but if he is unable to beat Alastair Gray and Rybakov likely beating Kellovsky the Sun Devils will have a hard time finding 4 points. This one could very easily go ASU's way but I think the home court advantage, the TCU strength up top and the slow start ASU has gotten off to will tip the scales in favor of TCU.
Predictions:Arizona State 4, Oklahoma State 2
